Job Title: Final Assembly / Shipping and Receiving
Location: Bad Cat Amplifiers – Costa Mesa, CA
Job Type: Full-Time

Bad Cat Amplifiers is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Final Assembly Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our handcrafted amplifiers and products are packed securely, shipped efficiently, and completed with care. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and shares our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, pack, and ship amplifiers, pedals, parts, and merchandise
• Inspect products for quality before shipping
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain organized inventory of shipping supplies
• Coordinate with production and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines
• Assist with basic warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Assist with final amplifier assembly including:

Requirements:

• Prior shipping/warehouse experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
• Experience with basic soldering and light assembly work preferred
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with basic spreadsheets
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Title: Hand-Wired Tube Amp Technician
Location: Bad Cat Amplifiers – Costa Mesa, CA

Bad Cat Amplifiers is looking for a detail-oriented, skilled builder to join our team. We are continuously refining our production process for greater efficiency and need someone who can work quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
•    Hand-wire tube amplifiers with clean, organized, and reliable workmanship.
•    Follow standardized processes to streamline production and improve workflow.
•    Work closely with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
•    Maintain a neat and organized workspace.

Requirements:

•    A sample of your work will be required during the interview. (photo or physical sample)
•    Experience in hand-wiring tube amplifiers (2+ years preferred).
•    Strong soldering skills with attention to detail and speed.
•    Ability to work efficiently while upholding high-quality standards.
•    Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or willingness to adapt to an efficiency-driven workflow.
•    Team player with a growth mindset and adaptability.
